About the Digital Transformation Summit
The Digital Transformation Summit, part of the Madeira Digital Transformation Week, is in line with the European Commission's Digital Compass for 2030. The summit aims to discuss and drive forward the EU's digital strategy, bringing together key figures from the European Commission, government, academia and industry.
Topics discussed included health, manufacturing, maritime, smart cities and energy, as well as European data spaces and digital services. The event also addressed horizontal challenges such as AI, big data and cybersecurity, as well as societal issues such as digital literacy, skills and social inclusion.
