CLASCO Consortium Meets in Berlin for 3rd Annual Project Meeting

Two days of collaboration, progress review and strategic planning for additive manufacturing innovation.

The CLASCO consortium gathered in Berlin on 20 and 21 March for its third annual project meeting. Hosted by project partner ABCircular GmbH and organised by Prof. Gesa Beck and her team, the event provided an ideal setting for constructive exchange and focused planning.

All work packages presented their current status and defined upcoming tasks in a joint effort to achieve the project's goals. Bilateral discussions added significant value by refining collaboration strategies and aligning technical efforts.

A key focus was the role of post-processing in additive manufacturing, particularly for parts with complex geometries used in aerospace and biomedical applications. These elements are essential for producing high-performance, lightweight components that meet stringent functional and safety requirements.

The Berlin meeting strengthened the practical collaboration between the project partners and contributed to a clearer roadmap for the final phase of the project. CLASCO continues to drive industrially relevant innovation and supports the broader goals of European manufacturing resilience.

Special thanks go to ABCircular GmbH for hosting the event and to all participants for their engagement in these important discussions.
