Laser-based manufacturing is a key technology for industries such as automotive, aerospace, microelectronics and healthcare. The symposium will bring together top scientists, engineers and industry leaders to discuss the latest research and technological developments in laser materials processing at the macro, micro and nanometer scales. It will cover both industrial applications and fundamental research, addressing the mechanisms that govern the interaction between laser beams and materials.
The workshop and symposium are co-organized by Prof. Andrés Lasagni and Dr. Bogdan Voisiat, both members of the CLASCO consortium, from TU Dresden. The event will provide an excellent platform for researchers, engineers and industry professionals to exchange ideas, explore collaborations and learn about the latest trends in laser technology.
Attendees can expect in-depth discussions on the latest industrial and technical advances, as well as the opportunity to learn more about how laser-based processes can improve product functionality in a range of sectors, including automotive, microelectronics and healthcare.
Other co-organisers include:
- Prof. Dr. Antonio Ancona (University of Bari)
- Dr. Robert Baumann (TU Dresden)
- Dr. Gediminas Raciukaitis (Center for Physical Sciences and Technology FTMC)
- Prof. Dr. Gert-willem Römer (University of Twente)
- Dr. Marcos Soldera (TU Dresden)
- Dr.-Ing. Christoph Zwahr (TU Dresden)
